Pastor - Rev. Dr. Bradley J. Donahue
The Rev. Dr. Bradley J. Donahue is pastor of Lorain Christian Temple. Dr. Donahue is a native of Batavia, New York.
With over 30 years in ministry, he has served churches in New York State and Ohio. He is a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College and Colgate Rochester Divinity School where he earned his BA in Religion/Philosphy and his M.Div respectively. In 2007, he received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Dr. Brad is active in the Lorain community, having served as president of the Lorain Clergy Association and the Lorain Cooperative Ministries. He is presently a member and past Board member of Lorain Rotary Club well as a past a member of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood House Association.
Rev. Dr. Donahue is highly regarded as a preacher and a worship leader. Brad and his wife, Gayle, are the parents of three children, Matt, Katie Barone and Marc, and are the proud grandparents of Lillian Ariana Barone.
In July 2010, Dr. Brad celebrated his 15th year as pastor of Christian Temple.
Music Team Leader/Organist-Linda Bohnert
Linda Bohnert plays for Sunday worship services and special services on the Rodgers 950 Digital Organ. Under her leadership the Music Team was developed which, at the present time, includes the singers of our intergenerational, mixed-voice choir and our Choirchime instrument players.
Linda earned her CERTIFICATE IN CHURCH MUSIC, Organ, Choral from Baldwin-Wallace College, Conservatory of Music in 1991. She has served area churches as a pianist, organist, children’s music director and handbell choir director. She has attended music workshops at New York’s Chautauqua Institute and Week of Handbells in Bay View, MI. Linda recently completed a Music Technology course in the MIDI Multi-media computer lab at B-W using Sibelius, the latest in composition and transcription software. She also plays the flute and, for fun, took recorder lessons last year.
Linda is married to John who is also a member of the Music Team. They live in North Olmsted.
